Setup fees in commercial printing typically include plate making, die cutting setup, and custom Pantone color. Rush printing premiums often run +25-50% for 2-3 business days and +50-100% for next business day, based on major online printer fee structures, 2025. That lower label quote can vanish once you add a die, a proof cycle, and a rush. The difference was way bigger than I expected the first time we quoted a regulated label.
